Video Poker is very popular land-based casino game all over the world. Each different Video Poker game can have a different pay table. Make sure that you are familiar with the pay table for the game that you are playing before placing your wager.
GAME OBJECTIVE
The objective in 1 Hand Video Poker is to achieve a poker hand that contains at least the lowest combination showing on the pay table for the specific version you are playing. For example, in Jacks or Better, the lowest combination on the pay table is a Pair of Jacks. Having a pair of Jacks or better will pay the value shown on the pay table. The pay table changes with every coin value that you wager. You can wager up to 5 coins per hand.
GAME RULES
To start, select the Coin Value that you wish to wager. Pressing the Plus (+) or Minus (-) will change the Coin Value accordingly. The default Wager is one (1) coin.
Select the number of coins you wish to bet on your hand by clicking the Bet One button. You can bet a maximum of five (5) coins per hand. Each time that you press the Bet One button, your Wager amount will change. For example, if you have selected a Coin Value of $1.00 and the Wager shows $2.00, that would mean that you are betting 2 coins on each hand. To reduce the numbers of coins wagered on each hand, click the Bet One button until the desired wager value lowers. When you are ready to start with the Wager that you have selected, click on the Deal button.
If you wish to bet the maximum amount of coins on your hand (five coins), click on the BET MAX button. When you press the BET MAX button, the hand is automatically dealt. There is no need to press the Deal button.
Once you have been dealt your cards, you can now select which ones to Hold. Just click on the card and you will see that they will be HELD. In some of the Video Poker games the software will automatically hold certain cards for you. For example, in Deuces Wild, the software will select the two (2) as Held by default. In Jacks or Better, if you are dealt a pair of Jacks or higher, the software will automatically set those to Hold.
When you have selected the cards you wish to Hold, click on the DRAW button. This will exchange the cards that are NOT HELD. The software will now compare your cards to the pay table and pay you accordingly.
The main idea is to better your initial hand by holding the cards that apply. Drawing new cards will hopefully better your hand. The pay table will always show above your cards.
Remember: Each of the different Video Poker games have a different Pay Table. Make sure that you understand the lowest combination on the Pay Table in order for you to get paid.
